I’m an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have my Sex Offender Management and Supervision Certificate, as well as my Domestic Violence Prevention Certificate.

Hi! I’m Sam Fitzgerald, LMHC-D

My degree is in Forensic Mental Health Counseling and I have significant experience within the criminal justice system. I am a licensed mental health counselor with diagnostic privilege in the state of New York.

Education & Licenses

Much of my experience is in the forensic space and I have experience conducting Forensic Mental Health Assessments. I have expanded to doing individual therapy outside of the criminal justice system as well.

I am passionate about my work and individualize every session and treatment plan to each client’s unique needs. I take a culturally-sensitive, neuro-affirming, and trauma-informed approach to my sessions.
